CallWave Fax to Email Review
CallWave
CallWave is a fax-to-email service that lets you receive but not send faxes. For some people this is fine, if you want to receive my faxes via internet fax services and send faxes on a normal fax machine. (I prefer to send and receive faxes using an internet fax service.)
Best for:Moderate-to-high volume, don't need to send faxes, and want a local number.
Phone numbers: CallWave might have the best local number selection of fax providers reviewed on Fax.info. To test it out I put in the area code and prefix in my area and they had a phone number that matched both! For example, if your phone number is (555) 402-1234, they might have the phone number (555) 402-4321.
Prices: CallWave has one fax-to-email package. It's free for 30 days and then $7.95 thereafter. There is no set up fee and your first month is free.
File format: You receive faxes in .pdf format. Other format options are available.
Customer Feedback: Faxbeep mostly has comments from disgruntled users.
Final analysis: : A good choice if you really don't need to send faxes, but not much cheaper than a full service offering.
